The experience
Miyabi, a calligrapher working in Kyoto, sits with your group and teaches the strokes in person: how to load the brush, where a line begins, when to lift. You write your name or a word you love in kanji, hiragana, or English, and keep the sheet you are proudest of. No experience is needed, and children are welcome.
